Wedding Planning

We're in full wedding planning mode and have actually accomplished a few things - or at least started them.
1) Today, JB and I are going to West Main Bridal to check out wedding dresses. I hope they carry dresses under $500 cause I was really hoping only to spend $200. Is that possible?
2) I've narrowed our search for photographers and I really like this one. I spoke with her on the phone for a while and she showed me some pictures on her site. She recommended I check out Wedding Photojournalist Association. I think these are the best kind of photos for our wedding.
3) We found our videographer (Hi RC and JB!). JB has all the equipment and editing software, and she loves to have a purpose. I love that she is doing this for us.
4) The chuppah - I've been contacting family to see if anyone has any fabric from my grandparents that I could use, but it's not looking good on that front. I might make my own or look around on the net. We are going to use my father's or my grandfather's tallit when JVB blesses us together underneath of it. It's going to bring tears to my eyes, I know already.

Haven't forgotten those resolutions

I was looking over the resolutions and I've got to say I haven't strayed as far as one might expect.

1) I'm not doing that well on the cursing, but I have made an effort by making up some substitute words and phrases. Nothing too unique, but just something to keep me from shoving a bar of soap in my mouth.
2) I did get a haircut, which was something just for me. Also, I called to make an appointment for a massage. I really need one. My back has been killing me.
3) I found some gray hairs on my head, and I'm afraid that I'm allowing work to stress me out. I do not want to be one of those people whose life is led by my career. While I love my job, I don't want it to control me. And while there could be other reasons for gray hair (you know, that whole mom had cancer thing), work is definitely the main contributing reason.
4) I opened up a high interest savings account to start saving for our house. It's not with our normal bank, so I forget about it most of the time. Should've done it a long time ago, but better late than never.

Not too shabby if I do say so myself.
